Moving on to another day, ladies and gentlemen, with all the excitement that entails.

Since the last time we brought you an Open Thread. . .

-Ted took a look at the Minnesota Vikings' depth chart at the wide receiver position.

-One of our readers is seeking advice about the upcoming Training Camp. So, if you have any to offer, do so there.

-Head coaching legend Bud Grant is going to be immortalized in the form of a statue. In Canada.

-Greg Jennings told the folks from ESPN that the team's offense is going to feature a lot more of Cordarrelle Patterson this coming season.

From some other sources around the internet. . .

-Vikings Territory has a different look at the quarterback competition. It has graphs.

-Former Vikings' wide receiver Rickey Young really likes the future for this football team.

-NFL.com tabs Cordarrelle Patterson as someone that could break out from a fantasy football perspective this coming season. (The article also says that Patterson was the highest-scoring FF receiver in the last four weeks of last season. . .so he's got that going for him, which is nice.) Tight end Kyle Rudolph is also on the list as a sleeper.

The rules of the Open Thread are the same as they've ever been, ladies and gentlemen. . .no politics, no religion, no feeding of the trolls, keep the language relatively clean (using spoiler tags, if necessary), and keep the GIFs relatively work-safe.

More television theme music for our entertainment today.

With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open for this Tuesday, ladies and gentlemen. Enjoy the rest of your day!
