One of the bigger fundraising events that the Minnesota Vikings put on is just around the corner, and there's still time for you to get signed up and be a part of it.
The 2014 Minnesota Vikings Ride For Life Motorcycle Rally is set to take place on Saturday, 12 July. People that want to participate can pre-register at the Vikings' official website. Registration on the day of the event will happen at the Blue Heron Grill at 9 AM and at the Hinckley Amphitheater at 11:30 AM. In addition, if you pre-register, you will be eligible to win a pair of 2014 season tickets. The pre-registration deadline is 8 July.
The cost to participate in the ride is a $10 donation to the Vikings' Children's Fund. At the end of the motorcycle ride, over $20,000 in prizes will be given away, including $5,000 in cash.
We all know what the Vikings Children's Fund does for the Twin Cities community, and if you're a motorcycle enthusiast, this is as good a reason to get out for a ride as any. Hopefully some of you folks out there reading this will be able to take part.
