Happy Monday morning, ladies and gentlemen. . .my apologies for the delay in today's Open Thread, so let's get to it.
Since the last time we brought you an Open Thread. . .
-Ted and the rest of the gang that will be covering Training Camp for us are wondering what you'd like to see.
-Yet another member of the Minnesota Vikings is set to make the leap, according to NFL.com.
-Defensive end Spencer Nealy, who probably wasn't going to make the team anyway, violated the league's substance abuse policy.
-We looked at two of the team's biggest plays of 2013, with a look at Brian Robison's fumble return touchdown against the Chicago Bears and Toby Gerhart's touchdown run against the Baltimore Ravens.
-With the return of LeBron James to the Cleveland Cavaliers, Ted took a look at Fran Tarkenton's journey to and from Minnesota.
-And, since we all love talking about the Vikings' quarterback situation, Ted managed to combine it with something we love talking about even more. . .our ex-girlfriends/boyfriends.
The rules of the Open Thread are the same as they've ever been, ladies and gentlemen. . .no politics, no religion, no feeding of the trolls, keep the language relatively clean (with spoiler tags, if necessary), and keep the GIFs relatively work-safe.
For our entertainment this week, in honor of the release of what might be his final studio album this Tuesday (entitled Mandatory Fun), we will once again be featuring the work of the greatest musical genius of my generation. . ."Weird" Al Yankovic. In conjunction with his new album, Al will be releasing a new video every day for the next eight days. We will be highlighting those. . .but, in the meantime. . .
With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open for this Monday, ladies and gentlemen. Enjoy the rest of your day!
