After the past couple of days, it would appear as though we could use something positive to talk about, and we got one from the guy that generally does that for the Minnesota Vikings.
(Provides positive things to talk about, I mean.)
The annual Starkey Hearing Foundation Gala was held last night in Minneapolis, and Vikings' running back Adrian Peterson was in attendance. Peterson brought somebody with him as well.
His new wife, Ashley.

Peterson has been dating Ashley (whose last name was Brown) for a fairly long time. (I can't seem to nail down an exact timeline through the Googles or anything.) According to the St. Paul Pioneer Press, Ashley was wearing a "sizeable diamond ring" at the gathering as well. Mrs. Peterson's Twitter account also has the bio "Wife. Mother. God 1st" on it.
And nobody was any the wiser previous to last night's gathering.
So, if this is the case, congratulations to the newlyweds, and who knows. . .maybe AD can bring home a significantly larger ring for his new bride in the near future.
