BAH GAWD LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, IT'S TRAINING CAMP DAY! THE OFF-SEASON IS OFFICIALLY OVER AND WE ARE ONCE AGAIN BACK TO HAVING MINNESOTA VIKINGS FOOTBALL!

Yeah. . .we happy. Thanks to all of you for sticking it out through the off-season with us. Our Training Camp Coverage starts today, and we'll have a separate Open Thread for that starting at approximately 10 AM Central time. We ask that that thread remain GIF-free, as our folks in Mankato will be attempting to provide info in as close to real-time as possible, and we don't want things getting bogged down. Thank you in advance for your cooperation on this.

Since the last time we brought you an Open Thread. . .

-We already have our first "casualty" of Training Camp, as tight end Chase Ford will likely start out on the Phyiscally Unable to Perform List.

-We took a look back at another great play from the Vikings' 2013 season, a 38-yard touchdown pass from Christian Ponder to Jarius Wright.

-CCNorseman sat down with some folks from a Green Bay Packers' website for a look at the upcoming season.

-You can submit questions that will be used on a televised preview of the Vikings' 2014 season, featuring several of our writers.

-Special teams coach Mike Priefer did a whole lot of apologizing yesterday.

-Cordarrelle Patterson's entrance to Vikings' camp was. . .shall we say. . .flashy? (What I did there. . .did you see it?)

-Joseph Patterson was officially charged with the murder of Adrian Peterson's son. The commentariat at Pro Football Talk has started raising money for his legal defense. (I may have made that last part up. . .but, really, would you be shocked if it was true?)

-Blah blah Kluwe blah blah laughed at Mike Priefer's joke blah blah.

The rules of the Open Thread are the same as they've ever been, ladies and gentlemen. . .no politics, no religion, no feeding of the trolls, keep the language relatively clean (using spoiler tags if necessary), and keep the GIFs relatively work-safe.
