The Minnesota Vikings. . .and a lot of NFL experts. . .are expecting big things from wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson this year. And there's a very good chance that those big things are coming.
But they're going to have to wait at least a few days.
Zimmer on Patterson: "he's got a foot problem he's been dealing with. Nothing serious." Added he's day to day #vikings

The rumor was going around earlier in the day that one member of the team had not passed their conditioning test, and that said individual would not be practicing. That someone turned out to be Patterson, but it wasn't that he failed his conditioning test, he didn't even take it.
The Vikings are making the right move in letting Patterson sit back and watch for a bit. It's not as though he isn't making the team, and he's an asset that the team definitely doesn't want to take any chances with.
I know that when I saw on the Twitter that Cordarrelle Patterson was sitting out of practice with an injury, I was a bit worried. However, he's only going to be out for a few days, and then he'll be back doing Flash things and making us feel foolish for worrying.
