Happy Monday, ladies and gentlemen. . .or, at least, happier Monday, because we have Minnesota Vikings football to talk about!

Since the last time we brought you an Open Thread. . .

-Tight end Kyle Rudolph signed a new five-year contract extension with the team, and it's the sort of team-friendly deal we've become accustomed to seeing from the team's front office.

-Ted has practice notes from all of the team's practices thus far. . .Friday morningFriday afternoonSaturday morningSaturday afternoonSunday morning, and Sunday afternoon.

-Arif has his notebooks from both Friday and Saturday for your reading pleasure.

-People are talking about quarterback Teddy Bridgewater.

-The team is going to be utilizing Google Glass in camp this year.

-We've managed to snag several interviews during camp, including running back Jerick McKinnon, receiver Kain Colter, and cornerback Captain Munnerlyn.

We've got all of that and more in our 2014 Training Camp StoryStream, which will remain in its prominent position on the front page for the entirety of camp.

It looks like we're probably going to be going with this Open Thread and one for the entire day of Training Camp stuff. . .the comments on the Open Threads for camp stuff haven't gotten comments to the point where we need to worry about them bogging down or anything. So, keep an eye out for that just before the start of the morning practice session, approximately 10 AM Central.

The rules of the Open Thread are the same as they've ever been, ladies and gentlemen. . .no politics, no religion, no feeding of the trolls, keep the language relatively clean (using spoiler tags, if necessary), and keep the GIFs relatively work-safe.

No real theme for this week's music that I can think of, but this seems appropriate for the first Open Thread since camp started.

With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open for this Monday, ladies and gentlemen. Enjoy the rest of your day!
