We are one week away from Minnesota Vikings football, folks! By this time next week, we'll be hyping up the game between our favorite football team and the Oakland Raiders at TCF Bank Stadium. Because FOOTBALL, BAH GAWD, FOOTBALL!

Since the last time we brought you an Open Thread. . .

It was Eric's turn to hang out at Vikings Training Camp yesterday, and he gave us plenty of good stuff.

-Here's the recap of the morning practice session, including some words from linebacker Chad Greenway.

-We also have a recap of a press conference from Vikings' head coach Mike Zimmer.

-Wide receiver Greg Jennings shared some thoughts with the press during the afternoon.

-Eric also has plenty of HOT SPORTS TAEKS (™ @PFTCommenter) about everyone on offense and special teams.

-Ted did a radio spot with some folks in Edmonton. . .dramatic pause. . .Alberta, Canada.

-And we weren't the only ones that weren't entirely happy with the direction of the Minnesota Vikings after last season.

From some other sources around the internet. . .

-Jabari Price, the last of the Vikings' ten selections in the 2014 NFL Draft, is apparently making quite the impression so far.

-The Vikings had a team of officials at yesterday's practice, and got a heads-up on some points of emphasis for officials this season.

-Elsewhere in Mankato, cheerleaders are apparently dropping out of the skies. (As God as my witness, I thought cheerleaders could fly.)

The rules of the Open Thread are the same as they've ever been, ladies and gentlemen. . .no politics, no religion, no feeding of the trolls, keep the language relatively clean (using spoiler tags if necessary), and keep the GIFs relatively work-safe.

Here's your entertainment for today.

With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open for this Friday, ladies and gentlemen. Enjoy the rest of your day, and we'll be back with more Training Camp coverage later on!
