Cheerleaders again? Sure, why not?

We've reached another Friday, and this particular Friday marks the end of Minnesota Vikings Training Camp, the day before the team's second pre-season game against the Arizona Cardinals. We hope that you enjoyed the coverage we had of training camp this year, and we will definitely be looking to step things up a little more next season.

Since the last time we brought you an Open Thread. . .

-Eric sat down with our friends from Revenge of the Birds to take a look at this weekend's pre-season contest.

-There's a brand new episode of Norse Code for your listening pleasure.

-Matt Cassel might get an entire half of play against the Cardinals, while Adrian Peterson once again won't play at all.

From some other sources around the internet. . .

-New head coach Mike Zimmer never really gave much thought to firing Mike Priefer.

-A look back at the Vikings' first-ever pre-season game, which was actually played in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

-Here's a piece about how defensive end Everson Griffen has "grown up" during his time with the Vikings.

The rules of the Open Thread are the same as they've ever been, ladies and gentlemen. . .no politics, no religion, no feeding of the trolls, keep the language relatively clean (with spoiler tags, if necessary), and keep the GIFs relatively work-safe.

For today's entertainment. . .

Hoff? Hoff.

With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open for this Friday, ladies and gentlemen. Enjoy the rest of your day!
