Minnesota Vikings News and Links, 8/20

Brad Rempel-USA TODAY Sports

Welcome to another Hump Day Open Thread, ladies and gentlemen!

Since the last time we brought you an Open Thread. . .

-There were more details announced on the settlement between the Minnesota Vikings and former punter Chris Kluwe.

-Kyle mused about the future for quarterback Christian Ponder.

-CCNorseman did a spot on a podcast with the folks from Rotoviz Radio.

-Ted brought us some more details on the expansion of NFL practice squads.

From some other sources around the internet. . .

-A couple of former Minnesota Vikings did some pretty big things at the most recent WWE pay-per-view.

-It sounds like the Vikings are going to be keeping three quarterbacks.

-After a 2013 season of dealing with some physical issues, offensive tackle Matt Kalil says he feels pretty good going into 2014.

The rules of the Open Thread are the same as they've ever been, ladies and gentlemen. . .no politics, no religion, no feeding of the trolls, keep the language relatively clean (using spoiler tags, if necessary), and keep the GIFs relatively work-safe.

Today's entertainment. . .probably used this one before at some point, but that's okay.

With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open for this Wednesday, ladies and gentlemen. Enjoy the rest of your day!
