Radisson Hotel, which is a sponsor of the Minnesota Vikings, and who's logo was prominently displayed in the banner behind today's press conferences, has issued a statement saying they will not be associated with the Vikings anymore.
The statement, from their website:
Radisson takes this matter very seriously particularly in light of our long-standing commitment to the protection of children. We are closely following the situation and effective immediately, Radisson is suspending its limited sponsorship of the Minnesota Vikings while we evaluate the facts and circumstances.
As you know, on Friday Adrian Peterson was indicted for reckless or negligent injury and deactivated for the Patriots game. Earlier today, he was reinstated by the Vikings, and at the time the team said they were going to let the legal process play out.
Some four hours after that press conference, another abuse allegation surfaced from June of 2013. It was based on a complaint filed by the mother of his child who was not involved in the indictment charge which occurred on Friday.
As of this post, the Vikings have not issues a statement on either this most recent abuse allegation or on Radisson hotel suspending their sponsorship of the Vikings.
