Back to work, everybody! The Labor Day weekend is over and we're getting closer to the opening game of the Minnesota Vikings' 2014 season.

Since the last time we brought you an Open Thread. . .

-We've started our stream for the Week 1 match-up against the St. Louis Rams with a brief look at the history between the two teams.

-We also have the first depth chart of the 2014 regular season, directly from the Vikings.

-The Vikings added a new face to the practice squad, signing former Detroit Lions' cornerback Chris Greenwood.

-This year's Vikings squad is one of the youngest teams in the NFL.

-If Teddy Bridgewater's mom wants to start selling these shirts, I'll buy one.

From some other sources around the internet. . .

-Defensive tackle Linval Joseph returned to practice for the Vikings on Monday.

-There's a new book forthcoming on the 1969 Minnesota Vikings, the team that won the last NFL Championship before the NFL-AFL merger.

-Mike Zimmer feels as though he's found the perfect fit with the Vikings.

-Are the Minnesota Vikings considering moving cornerback Shaun Prater to the safety position?

The rules of the Open Thread are the same as they've ever been, ladies and gentlemen. . .no politics, no religion, no feeding of the trolls, keep the bad language to a minimum (using spoiler tags if necessary), and keep the GIFs relatively work-safe.

Today's video goes out to a few certain folks out there. I'm guessing they know who they are.

With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open for this Tuesday, ladies and gentlemen. Enjoy the rest of your day!
