Minnesota Vikings at New Orleans Saints: Game Time, TV Channel, Radio, Streaming and More

Bruce Kluckhohn-USA TODAY Sports

Again, the Minnesota Vikings will be playing an actual game of football this weekend, this time traveling down to the deep south to do battle with the New Orleans Saints. There are numerous different ways for you to follow the action of this game, and we're going to detail all of those ways for you right here.

Television Info

Kickoff time for this one is set for 12 PM Central time, and as this is an all-NFC match-up, the game will be televised on FOX. The announcing team for this one will be Chris Myers and former Tampa Bay Buccaneer Ronde Barber. Here is the map from the folks at The 506 that shows where the game will primarily be shown.

If you are not in the primary viewing area and will be watching the game through the DirecTV Sunday Ticket package, you will be able to find the game on Channel 712.

For our Canadian friends, you can view the game on either Fox Minneapolis or CTV Winnipeg. (Thanks to A Rouge Point for that information.)

If you're in the United Kingdom, you will be able to see the game on NFL Game Pass. (Thanks to NFL UK.)

The game will not be shown on the American Forces Network, as their early games for this week will be Bills/Chargers (AFN Sports) and Packers/Lions (AFN Prime Atlantic).

Radio Info

If you're traveling or just prefer to hear the Minnesota Vikings' announcers over the FOX crew, you can tune into the Vikings Radio Network. Per NFL rules, the game will not be on the site for KFAN-FM 100.3 (the Vikings' flagship station), but here is the full list of stations that will allow you to see if you have an affiliate in your area.

If you have satellite radio, you have avenues there as well. If you have a Sirius radio, you can hear the Vikings on Channel 138. If you have an XM Radio, you're stuck with the Saints' feed on XM 226. If you have access to the SiriusXM Online app or access to SiriusXM Online through the internet, you can find the Vikings' feed on Channel 817.

Referee Info

According to the folks from the Football Refs website, the crew for this afternoon's game will be headed up by Walt Anderson. Pete Morelli, the NFL's worst referee, who sucks like no other official in the league, will be in New England, hopefully not affecting the Vikings game too much.

Streaming Info

There are a couple of different methods available for legally streaming this week's contest. First, because this game is on Fox, is to stream it through Fox Sports Go. (There are some caveats to that. . .Awful Announcing covers them all right here.) If you live overseas, you can legally stream the game through NFL Game Pass. That's what I'm using, and it's pretty sweet.

As far as other streams are concerned, do NOT. . .and I mean not in any way, shape, or form. . .promote illegal streaming sites on The Daily Norseman. Not in the comments, not in the FanPosts, not in the FanShots, not in the Game Thread on Sunday, not anywhere. Don't even hint at them. Trust me on this. If you're that determined to watch the game via an illegal stream, do a Google search and find it on your own. And be sure to enjoy your malware.

That should be all of the info needed to follow along with the action from the Mercedes-Benz Superdome on Sunday afternoon, folks. We'll have the Open Thread up here about an hour before kickoff for you to hang out in as well.
