We've made it to Friday, ladies and gentlemen. And, so far, nothing bad or crazy has happened to the Minnesota Vikings, which is always nice.
Since the last time we brought you an Open Thread. . .
-Over at the mothership, the latest installment of "Breaking Madden" features Minnesota's new quarterback, Teddy Bridgewater.
-Ted was on the Purple for the Win podcast yesterday. Yes, all the way from Germany.
-Eric has his picks column up for your enjoyment for this week. (SPOILER: He's 0-1 so far.)
-Mark has his look at which college football players you should be keeping an eye on this weekend.
-And, once again, we are privileged to have the wit and wisdom of Zim Tzu.
From some other sources around the internet. . .
-The Vikings will have to do something to fill the void at tight end now that Kyle Rudolph is going to be out.
-Cordarrelle Patterson is trying to find the spark to his return game.
-Teddy Bridgewater's first start is not coming in an ideal situation, but it's an important one none the less.
-The team's new stadium is now 1/6 of the way to being complete.
The rules of the Open Thread are the same as they've ever been, ladies and gentlemen. . .no politics, no religion, no feeding of the trolls, keep the bad language to a minimum (using spoiler tags, if necessary), and keep the GIFs relatively work-safe.
Your musical entertainment for today.
Is Burt Sugarman any relation to Certified Athletic Trainer Eric Sugarman™? Sort of have to wonder.
With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open for this Friday, ladies and gentlemen. Enjoy the rest of your day!
