Well, yesterday certainly was fun, wasn't it folks? Between the Minnesota Vikings getting a much-needed victory and Drew Brees not being able to cry hard enough to prevent his team from getting blown out in prime time, it was a pretty good day all around. But there's a short turn-around before this team has to head to Green Bay for a Thursday night game, so we'll be on that either later on today or first thing tomorrow.
Since the last time we brought you an Open Thread, pretty much everything we've done centered around yesterday's 41-28 victory over the Atlanta Falcons. That link goes to the stream of all the articles we did for our coverage of the contest. If you're interested in just the recap, the slightly longer recap, or the Stock Market Report. . .well, there you go.
There are recaps of yesterday's game from all the usual sources, including the Star-Tribune, the Pioneer Press, 1500 ESPN, and the big ESPN.
We'll also be keeping an eye out to see if anything comes from the results of Teddy Bridgewater's MRI. X-rays were negative for any broken bones, and it appears that Bridgewater is just dealing with a sprain. Hopefully we'll know more this afternoon.
The rules of the Open Thread are the same as they've ever been, ladies and gentlemen. . .no politics, no religion, no feeding of the trolls, keep the bad language to a minimum (using spoiler tags if necessary), and keep the GIFs relatively work-safe.
For today, it's a victory Monday, so you know what? PLAY THE DAMN SONG!
With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open for this Monday, folks. Enjoy the rest of your day, and we'll have more for you later on.
