Minnesota Vikings News and Links, 9/30

Bruce Kluckhohn-USA TODAY Sports

We've made it through September, ladies and gentlemen. Seems like as good a reason as any to celebrate to me.

Since the last time we brought you an Open Thread. . .

-We started our stream for coverage of this week's game between the Minnesota Vikings and the Green Bay Packers with CCNorseman's look at what weaknesses the Vikings could try to exploit.

-Former Vikings safety Jamarca Sanford has found a home with the Washington Redskins.

-Teddy Bridgewater's MRI came back clear, and there was much rejoicing.

-We have a slightly different look at Thursday night's matchup.

-Atlanta Falcons fan Samuel L. Jackson was not thrilled with his team's performance on Sunday.

-The Vikings also added quarterback Chandler Harnish to the practice squad, releasing wide receiver Donte Foster.

From some other sources around the internet. . .

-The Vikings feel that tight end Kyle Rudolph will be back in less time than he would have needed to miss by being placed on IR-return.

-How good was Teddy Bridgewater's debut? Pretty darn good.

-Xavier Rhodes also had one of his best games as a pro in Sunday's victory.

The rules of the Open Thread are the same as they've every been, ladies and gentlemen. . .no politics, no religion, no feeding of the trolls, keep the bad language to a minimum (using spoiler tags, if necessary), and keep the GIFs relatively work-safe.

Today's musical selection. . .kind of sums up the first month of the season.

With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open for this Tuesday, ladies and gentlemen. Enjoy the rest of your day!
