The NFL Divisional Playoffs kick off in Foxboro with a game between the AFC's top seed, the New England Patriots, and the sixth-seeded Baltimore Ravens.
The Patriots are coming off of a bye week, while the Ravens are coming off of a victory over their division rivals, the Pittsburgh Steelers. It's the post-season, which means that Joe Flacco is playing out of his mind (since that's what he generally does in the post-season), but now the Ravens are running into what might be football's best offense with Tom Brady at the controls. It should be a pretty good matchup, but I think the Patriots are just going to have too much for the Ravens to overcome in this one.
If New England should win this one, they will host the AFC Championship Game regardless of who wins tomorrow's game between the Denver Broncos and the Indianapolis Colts. On the other hand, if the Ravens emerge victorious, they will be on the road for the third straight week for the AFC Championship Game, taking on whichever team wins tomorrow.
Enjoy the game, ladies and gentlemen, and we'll have a thread for the NFC Divisional Game that will pop up at around 6:45 PM Central.
