Welcome to Thursday, everybody! Hopefully everyone made it through Wednesday relatively unscathed.

Since the last time we brought you an Open Thread. . .

-Ted took a look at the NFLPA protest about Adrian Peterson being mandated to receive counseling.

-Our favorite football team reached their 55th birthday yesterday. I think the Minnesota Vikings have aged all of their fans at least that much.

-CCNorseman has gotten into draft mode, and has an early version of his consensus draft rankings up and available.

From some other sites around the internet. . .

-The new Minnesota Vikings' stadium looks like it's going to have some pretty fancy lighting.

-With the stadium, a portion of the downtown part of 5th Street is going to be lost to commuters.

-It appears that Minnesota Vikings' football really is worth taking a holiday for.

The rules of the Open Thread are the same as they've ever been, ladies and gentlemen. . .no politics, no religion, no feeding of the trolls, keep the language relatively clean (using the spoiler tags, if necessary), and keep the pictures work-safe and appropriately-sized.

Today's musical entertainment for your enjoyment. There are some naughty words in this one. . .there's your warning.

With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open for this Thursday. Enjoy the rest of your day, ladies and gentlemen!
