Our first game of the 2014 NFL playoffs will kick off in Charlotte and, you know, the Carolina Panthers haven't lost since catching a beatdown at TCF Bank Stadium back in November. Granted, they didn't play anyone that was any good over that stretch, but they did what they had to do and now have a home playoff game to show for it. Their opponent, the Arizona Cardinals, keep rotating quarterbacks due to injury and will trot Ryan Lindley out under center for this one.
Arizona has one of the NFL's better defenses, but the Carolina defense has come on over the course of the past few weeks as well. And in a situation like this, I'm just going to keep it simple and say that I trust Cam Newton in this situation a whole heck of a lot more than I trust Ryan Lindley.
There will be a thread for tonight's other Wild Card contest popping up about a half an hour before they kick off, but if you're going to be watching the early action, this is the place to hang out and talk about it with your fellow Minnesota Vikings fans!
