Minnesota Vikings News and Links, 1/6

Darryl Norenberg-USA TODAY Sports

Welcome to Tuesday, ladies and gentlemen. Really, that's about all the more excitement I can muster.

Since the last time we brought you an Open Thread. . .

-CCNorseman takes a look at whether or not Adrian Peterson is declining on the field.

-It looks like the Minnesota Vikings are going to be a possibility for HBO's Hard Knocks this summer.

-Thanks to Eric, we now have the word cloud for the Vikings' 2014 season. Since it involves the Vikings, it also involves swearing. You've been warned.

From some other sources around the interwebs. . .

-Teddy Bridgewater set a lot of Vikings' rookie records in 2014. Like, a lot. No, seriously. . .a lot.

-Eff Those Guys linebacker Junior Galette was arrested for a domestic violence incident yesterday. It will be interesting to see how the NFL goes about the task of completely ignoring this and/or doing nothing about it.

The rules of the Open Thread are the same as they've ever been, ladies and gentlemen. . .no politics, no religion, no feeding of the trolls, keep the bad language to a minimum (using the spoiler tags, if necessary), and keep the pictures work-safe and appropriately-sized.

Here is today's Open Thread entertainment.

With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open for this Tuesday, folks. Enjoy the rest of your day, and we'll have more for you later on!
