Minnesota Vikings News and Links, 1/9

Bruce Kluckhohn-USA TODAY Sports

We've made it all the way to Friday, ladies and gentlemen! Hooray for us, and we have another weekend of football to look forward to as a reward.

Since the last time we brought you an Open Thread. . .

-There are three new faces on the Minnesota Vikings' roster, after the team signed them to reserve/futures contracts.

-The Mueller Report has been released, in which the NFL cleared the NFL of any wrong-doing in the Ray Rice case.

-The Norse Code crew has posted Part 2 of their most recent episode. Go and listen to it!

From some other sources around the internet. . .

-Cris Carter seems to be happy that his son's road has taken him back to Minnesota.

-If you think prices for PSL's in the Vikings' new stadium are expensive, you should see what the Atlanta Falcons are charging.

-As expected, Mick Tingelhoff is one of the finalists for the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2015. The class will be announced the day before the Super Bowl.

The rules of the Open Thread are the same as they've ever been, ladies and gentlemen. . .no politics, no religion, no feeding of the trolls, keep the bad language to a minimum (using the spoiler tags, if necessary), and keep the pictures work-safe and appropriately-sized.

Here is today's musical entertainment.

With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open for this Friday, ladies and gentlemen. Enjoy the rest of your day, and we'll have more for you later on!
