Vikings at Broncos Predictions: Who Wins?

Predicting the final score for the Week 4 matchup between the Minnesota Vikings and Denver Broncos.

Bold prediction: we probably won't see a helmetless Jared Allen chasing Tim Tebow this time.

It's that time of the week where we make our predictions official for the Week 4 game between the Minnesota Vikings and the Denver Broncos. Both teams come into the game playing some great defense with a combined record of 5-1. Once again, the folks from The Crowd's Line are providing us with a handy widget to predict the final score of the game. Make sure to pick what you actually think the score will be, because they're tracking which SB Nation blogs are closest to the actual score of each game throughout the season. Daily Norseman is still down at 24th but we're up three spots from last week after an average prediction of Vikings 26.2 - Chargers 20.6.

As it currently stands on the SB Nation NFL odds page, Denver is a 6.5 to 7 point favorite after opening as a 4.5 favorite to start the week. The over/under is 43. Ted already told us what he's looking for in Denver this week; I have already provided you with my Week 4 preview and picks. This was always circled as one of the toughest games on the 2015 schedule for the Vikings, although it may not be for the reasons we thought. This Denver defense might be the best in the league--Peyton Manning can be just "pretty good" and the defense can carry the rest. I like how Minnesota's defense matches up with the Broncos, especially against the run, but I just don't see how the Vikings can sustain enough scoring drives to win this one on the road. I think the spread is set just about where it should be and I like the under. Put me down for Broncos 20, Vikings 13.

Now it's your turn: WHO YA GOT?!
