Minnesota Vikings at Denver Broncos: Final Injury Reports For Both Teams

Hannah Foslien/Getty Images

We're right around 24 hours away from game time in Denver, ladies and gentlemen, so let's take a look at the final injury reports for the Minnesota Vikings and the Denver Broncos prior to this weekend's match-up. We'll start, as we always do, with the visiting team.

Minnesota Vikings

Player Position Injury Sunday Status
Charles Johnson WR Rib Out
Jabari Price CB Shoulder Out
Andrew Sendejo S Knee Out
Justin Trattou DE Foot Out
Audie Cole LB Ankle Questionable
Jarius Wright WR Hands Questionable
Xavier Rhodes CB Concussion Probable

After a couple of weeks of only listing two players on the injury report, the Vikings' list if injury issues has grown significantly since last weekend. There are four players that have already been declared as out, and Wright is a game time decision. This means that the Vikings could, potentially, be without two of their top three wide receivers. I'm going to assume that Robert Blanton will start in Sendejo's spot at safety and that rookie Danielle Hunter will be "up" in place of Trattou. On the bright side, Rhodes has been fully cleared, so he'll be able to match up with one of the Broncos' dual threats at wide receiver, whether it's Demaryius Thomas or Emmanuel Sanders.

And now, the home team.

Denver Broncos

Player Position Injury Sunday Status
Ty Sambrailo OT Shoulder Out
James Casey TE Knee Questionable
Todd Davis LB Ankle Questionable
Kenny Anunike DE Knee Probable
Omar Bolden S Foot Probable
Owen Daniels TE Non-Injury Probable
Peyton Manning QB Non-Injury Probable
Evan Mathis G Hamstring Probable
Juwan Thompson RB Neck Probable
Louis Vasquez G Knee Probable
Vance Walker DE Elbow Probable
Kayvon Webster CB Ankle Probable

Sambrailo is the big one for the Broncos, as the rookie has been starting at right left tackle for the Broncos this season so far. Other than that, there don't appear to be a whole lot of major injury issues on the Denver side, even though they list 12 players on their injury report.

And that's a look at all of the injuries on both sides leading up to this Sunday's contest between the Vikings and the Broncos. We'll have more coverage on this one as we get closer to game time, and the Open Thread will be ready to go an hour before kickoff.
