We have our first case of flex scheduling of the 2015 season, and it affects the Minnesota Vikings.
The original Sunday night match-up for NBC for Week 11 was going to feature the Kansas City Chiefs traveling to take on the San Diego Chargers. Given the record those two teams have put up, NBC has thought better of that and flexed the game between the Cincinnati Bengals and the Arizona Cardinals into that spot instead.
The part that affects the Vikings is that their Week 11 game against the Green Bay Packers has been flexed from its original start time of noon Central to a 3:25 PM Central kickoff on the same day.
The Vikings' game will still air on FOX, so it will be in the same place. The only other late game on FOX that afternoon is an NFC West match-up between the San Francisco 49ers and the Seattle Seahawks, so the Vikings' game figures to be on in a sizable portion of the country.
So, if you were planning on heading to TCF Bank Stadium for Week 11. . .and please, for the love of everything good and holy, don't sell your freaking tickets, because that's stupid and lame and what the hell kind of fan are you anyway. . .you're going to be heading out and getting home a little bit earlier than you were originally planning.
