It's injury report day, everybody! Both the Minnesota Vikings and the Atlanta Falcons have released their final injury lists going into this Sunday's game at the Georgia Dome, so let's take a look and see what they say. We'll start, as we usually do, with the visiting team.

Minnesota Vikings

Player Position Injury Sunday Status
Everson Griffen DE Hip/Shoulder Questionable
Harrison Smith S Knee Questionable
Trae Waynes CB Ankle Questionable
Anthony Barr LB Hand Probable
Robert Blanton S Ankle Probable
Teddy Bridgewater QB Left Shoulder Probable
Sharrif Floyd DT Ankle Probable
Matt Kalil OT Toe Probable
Eric Kendricks LB Ribs Probable

Both Smith and Griffen sat out practice on Wednesday and Thursday, and both were limited participants in Friday's practice session. I'd be absolutely shocked if either of them actually missed Sunday's game, though. Smith played most of the Green Bay game after suffering his knee injury. Waynes was added to the injury report on Thursday, and was the only Viking that did not practice on Friday. If he's out, his absence will be felt more on special teams than anywhere else. Outside of Griffen, Smith, and Waynes, everyone on the Vikings' injury report was a full participant in Friday's practice session.

And now, on to the home team.

Atlanta Falcons

Player Position Injury Sunday Status
Matt Bryant K Right Quad Out
Devonta Freeman RB Concussion Out
Leonard Hankerson WR Hamstring Out
Robert Alford CB Groin Probable
Andy Levitre G Knee Probable
Robenson Therezie S Hamstring Probable

We touched on Freeman potentially being out yesterday, but now it's official. Tevin Coleman will likely start in his place. The Falcons have also signed Shayne Graham to handle the kicking duties in place of Bryant. My guess is that rookie Justin Hardy will see most of Hankerson's snaps with him being out. Alford, Levitre, and Therezie were all full participants in Friday's practice session.

That's a look at the injury situation for the Minnesota Vikings and the Atlanta Falcons going into this Sunday's contest, ladies and gentlemen. We'll have more coverage of this weekend's game leading up to kickoff.
