The National Football League just put out a press release about flex scheduling for Week 16 of the NFL season, and the Minnesota Vikings might be involved. Whether the flexing happens or not depends on the results of the Monday Night Football contest between the New York Giants and the Miami Dolphins.
The league has announced that, if the Giants defeat the Dolphins tonight, the Week 16 match-up between the Vikings and the Giants at TCF Bank Stadium would be flexed to Sunday Night Football.
If the Giants lose or tie against the Dolphins this evening, then the Sunday Night Football match-up will remain the way it is right now. . .with the Baltimore Ravens hosting the Pittsburgh Steelers. In that scenario, the Vikings/Giants game would remain at noon Central time on Sunday, 27 December.
So, if you have an interest in whether or not the Vikings play in prime time in Week 16, you now have an interest in Monday Night Football.
Isn't the NFL great?
