Super Bowl XLIX: Doug Baldwin Does A Randy Moss

Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

As it stands right now, the Seattle Seahawks lead the New England Patriots by a score of 24-14 late in the third quarter. Seattle's most recent touchdown ended with a bit of a homage to a great playoff moment from a decade ago.

After receiving a three-yard touchdown pass from Russell Wilson, Seattle wide receiver Doug Baldwin toss the ball aside and pretended to pull his pants down.

This should remind Vikings fans of a certain all-time great wide receiver by the name of Randy Moss, who celebrated a touchdown in a similar. . .but more publicized. . .manner in 2005 at Lambeau Field.

Fortunately. . .or unfortunately, depending on your perspective, I guess. . .since the game is being shown on NBC, Joe Buck was not around to inform us of what a disgusting act Baldwin had just perpetrated.

Baldwin did receive a 15-yard penalty for his exploits, but it didn't matter much as the Seahawks forced the Patriots to punt on their ensuing drive.

Moss himself even noticed.

Well played, Doug Baldwin. Well played.
