It's the start of a new week, ladies and gentlemen, and I know that plenty of you have the day off. Hopefully you'll still make time to come and hang out with us here anyway.

Since the last time we brought you an Open Thread. . .

-Ted thinks that running back Adrian Peterson is coming back to the Minnesota Vikings next season.

-The 2015 Mock Draft Database is officially up and running with our Pre-Combine edition.

-It appears that the city of Minneapolis is one step closer to a Major League Soccer franchise. Will it be owned by the Wilf family?

-I cobbled together a Pre-Combine Mock Draft for your reading pleasure.

-The folks from NFL.com really liked the Vikings' 2014 rookie class.

-The 2015 NFL Scouting Combine will be getting underway in Indianapolis this week. We have a full schedule of events.

-Not only will the new Minnesota Vikings stadium kill millions* of birds, but apparently the skyway leading to the stadium will, too. (* - Number may be slightly over exaggerated.)

From some other sources around the interwebs. . .

-It looks like the Vikings are right around average in terms of their strength of schedule for 2015.

-Judd Zulgad of 1500 ESPN has a look at what might be the most exciting group of young athletes in Minnesota sports history (across all sports).

-Running back Jerick McKinnon sat down with the Minneapolis Star-Tribune and looked back at his rookie season.

The rules of the Open Thread are the same as they've ever been, ladies and gentlemen. . .no politics, no religion, no feeding of the trolls, keep the bad language to a minimum (using the spoiler tags, if necessary), and keep the pictures work-safe and appropriately-sized.

Today's entertainment for your viewing pleasure.

If the video won't work for you here (as it won't work in some countries for whatever reason YouTube has decided), you can check it out right here.

With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open for this Monday, ladies and gentlemen. Enjoy the rest of your day!
