Minnesota Vikings News and Links, 2/23

Malcolm Emmons-USA TODAY Sports

Welcome to the start of another week at your favorite Minnesota Vikings' website, ladies and gentlemen!

Since the last time we brought you an Open Thread. . .

-The big story this week has been the 2015 NFL Scouting Combine at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. We've been tracking all of the weigh-ins and workout results, and we have them all in one stream for easy access.

-Running back Adrian Peterson apparently requested a trade to the Dallas Cowboys, except for the part where he didn't really.

-CCNorseman has a look at running back David Johnson, a player that the Minnesota Vikings could be targeting in the later rounds.

-We are also up to Version 1.0 of the 2015 Mock Draft Database, with one particular player straight-up crushing the competition so far.

From some other sources around the internet. . .

-The folks from have an off-season breakdown of our favorite football team.

-The Viking Age checks out the case of wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham, who has all the talent in the world and plenty of baggage to go with it.

-At Vikings Journal, Arif looks at the possibility of Shaq Thompson ending up with the Minnesota Vikings.

The rules of the Open Thread are the same as they've ever been, ladies and gentlemen. . .no politics, no religion, no feeding of the trolls, keep the bad language to a minimum (using the spoiler tags, if necessary), and keep the pictures work-safe and appropriately-sized.

Here is our musical entertainment for today, which is awesome.

With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open for this Monday, ladies and gentlemen. Enjoy the rest of your day, and we'll have more for you later on.
