Minnesota Vikings News and Links, 2/24

Malcolm Emmons-USA TODAY Sports

Welcome to Tuesday, ladies and gentlemen!

Since the last time we brought you an Open Thread. . .

-There was, apparently, a confrontation between Rob Brzezinski and Ben Dogra, the man who represents Adrian Peterson, at the Scouting Combine in Indianapolis.

-Speaking of the Combine, there were some workouts taking place there, too. The defensive backs concluded the festivities at Lucas Oil Stadium, and we have all the workout results for you right here.

-In personnel news, the Minnesota Vikings signed CFL linebacker Brian Peters to a contract on Monday.

From some other sources around the internet. . .

-There's still some uncertainty at the quarterback position for the Vikings. . .just not at the starting spot.

-Andrew Krammer from 1500 ESPN has some takeaways from the Scouting Combine.

-Adrian Peterson's father declared that Peterson has not ruled out a return to the Vikings, which sort of flies in the face of everything that was said earlier in the day.

The rules of the Open Thread are the same as they've always been, ladies and gentlemen. . .no politics, no religion, no feeding of the trolls, keep the bad language to a minimum (using spoiler tags, if necessary), and keep the pictures work-safe and appropriately-sized.

For today's entertainment, a belated tribute to this year's Oscar winner for best picture, Birdman.

With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open for this Tuesday, ladies and gentlemen. Enjoy the rest of your day, and we'll have more for you later on!
