It's the start of a new week, ladies and gentlemen. I'd say "Hooray for Monday," but all of you would know I was lying.

Since the last time we brought you an Open Thread. . .

-Ted and Di are up to Episode 4 of Roughing the Podcast. They would have named it "A New Hope," but it turns out that was taken.

-The contract that Duron Carter signed with the Indianapolis Colts really wasn't all that large.

-Minnesota Vikings' General Manager Rick Spielman thought it would be fun to jump into ice cold water. But it was for a good cause.

-We took a look at the team's situation at fullback and tight end going into the off-season.

-Adrian Peterson had his appeal hearing on Friday afternoon in Minneapolis, after which he said he wanted to remain with the team.

-The Daily Norseman is everywhere in social media.

The rules of the Open Thread are the same as they've ever been, ladies and gentlemen. . .no politics, no religion, no feeding of the trolls, keep the bad language to a minimum (using the spoiler tags, if necessary), and keep the pictures work-safe and appropraitely-sized.

Here is today's musical entertainment.

Is it "Rickrolling" if you do it to yourself? I'm not sure if that still counts or not.

With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open for this Monday, ladies and gentlemen. Enjoy the rest of your day!
