The free agency period is less than ten minutes old and we already have some major deals going down. The Rams and Eagles have traded quarterbacks. Haloti Ngata is now a member of the Detroit Lions. Jimmy Graham has been traded to the Seahawks. Former Super Bowl MVP Malcolm Smith is headed to Oakland.
AND FREE AGENCY ISN'T EVEN FIFTEEN MINUTES OLD YET.
Thankfully we also have some pleasant Minnesota Vikings news to report. Offensive lineman Joe Berger has been re-signed according to Ben Goessling:
Joe Berger has agreed to a two-year deal with the #Vikings, per agent Tom Tafelski.

Terms of the deal aren't out yet, but we'll be sure to update this post when they are. This is promising news for the Vikings, who also tendered restricted free agent Mike Harris earlier today.
I wouldn't take this move as a sign the Vikings still aren't pursuing guards like Clint Boling in free agency; the Vikings learned the hard way last season that you can never have too many quality offensive linemen.
Stay tuned for what is sure to be much, much, MUCH more. Happy NFL New Year!
