Happy Thursday, everybody! In just six weeks, we'll be getting ready for the 2015 NFL Draft in Chicago, and it can't get here soon enough.
Since the last time we brought you an Open Thread. . .
-Minnesota Vikings linebacker Chad Greenway received the NFLPA's highest honor on Wednesday, as he was named the recipient of the 2015 Byron "Whizzer" White Award for his service to the community.
-CCNorseman put together another installment of his Armchair GM series concerning what the Vikings should do with the rest of their off-season.
-The Vikings have told the agent for running back Adrian Peterson that the team will not just outright release the running back.
From some other sources around the internet. . .
-The first sheet of glass. . .bird-proof or not. . .is ready to go up on the new Vikings' stadium.
-Offensive tackle Matt Kalil spoke at a rally to end domestic violence at the Minnesota capitol.
The rules of the Open Thread are as follows:
-No discussion of politics or religion
-No feeding of the trolls
-Keep the bad language to a minimum (using the spoiler tags, if you must)
-No pictures that could potentially get someone fired or in serious trouble at their place of employment
-If you can't disagree in a civil manner, feel free to go away
With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open for this Thursday, ladies and gentlemen. Enjoy the rest of your day, and we'll have more for you later on.
