You may have noticed that we're in a bit of a slow period between the unofficial "end" of the free agency flurry and the start of the 2015 NFL Draft. (And if you haven't noticed it. . .well, I damn sure have.) So, we're going to have a go at something here.
Apparently, the television show Survivor is still what the kids might call "a thing." To that end, we're going to adopt the concept for attempting to narrow down who the Daily Norseman community would like to see the Minnesota Vikings select in the 2015 NFL Draft.
By this point, thanks to our Mock Draft Database, we've seen a lot of the players that the "experts" think that the Minnesota Vikings could potentially select in the first round of the draft on 30 April. According to the most recent version of the database, there are 13 different players that have been mocked to the Vikings by at least two different sources at this point. So, in Survivor fashion, we're going to drop those 13 players onto the proverbial "island," and then the community is going to take turns voting them off.
The 13 players that are going to be involved are as follows:
Each round will last for approximately 48 hours, and then we'll move to the next round of voting. The voting will be done via the classic DN/SB Nation polls, and remember. . .you're not voting for the person that you'd like to see the Vikings draft, you're voting for the person that you want to see booted out each round.
The first installment of Minnesota Vikings Draft Survivor will go up sometime tomorrow morning. We've got another big event that will kick off tomorrow as well, so be sure to keep an eye out for both!
