Minnesota Vikings Draft Survivor: Shane Ray Eliminated

Dale Zanine-USA TODAY Sports

The votes are in for Round Four of our Minnesota Vikings Draft Survivor competition and. . .well, it's a shame about Ray.

The lone defensive lineman in our competition, Missouri defensive end Shane Ray, has been voted off of the island by our readers in the fourth round of the competition. We didn't have quite as many votes cast this time around, but Ray came out with 28% of the vote. Of the 1,748 votes cast, Ray came out with 489, a healthy distance ahead of the second place finisher, linebacker Shaq Thompson (who wound up with 394, or about 23%). Nobody else broke the 20% mark in this round of the competition.

There were three players that each wound up with approximately 1% of the vote this time around. They were Alabama wide receiver Amari Cooper (who got just 10 votes), Iowa offensive lineman Brandon Scherff (19 votes), and Michigan State cornerback Trae Waynes (25 votes).

So, we will be moving on to Round Five later on today as we continue to progress towards a winner of our Minnesota Vikings Draft Survivor competition.
