As you've no doubt seen by now, Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson will be reinstated by the National Football League, effective tomorrow. Aaron Katersky, a reporter for ABC News, has obtained a copy of the full letter that NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell sent to Adrian Peterson about his reinstatement. That letter, which he shared via his Twitter account, is shown below.

Goodell says that Peterson has not yet "embraced the need for significant changes" in his parenting practices, which is a bit concerning. However, he also says that the doctor that Peterson is currently working with believes that he is committed to continuing the course that he's on, and that's why the league is reinstating him.

We'll have more on this over the next day or two. It remains to be seen whether this is a new beginning for Adrian Peterson in Minnesota, or the beginning of the end for Peterson in Minnesota. Either way, a major hurdle has been cleared in getting this saga to its end.
