We are officially six and a half weeks away from the start of Minnesota Vikings training camp, as the team has released the formal schedule for the team's preparation for the 2015 NFL season.
The players will be reporting to camp on Saturday, 25 July, with the first practice coming on 26 July. According to the schedule, practices will generally consist of walk-throughs in the morning and actual practices during the afternoon/evening sessions.
The team has two evening practice sessions scheduled for Blakeslee Stadium. The first one is scheduled for Saturday, 1 August from 7:15 to 9:15 PM, and the second one at the same time on Tuesday, 4 August. According to the team's press release, the 1 August session will be followed by fireworks and a team introduction.
The players are scheduled to have the following days off during their time in Mankato:
Thursday, 30 July (players day off)
Wednesday, 5 August (players day off)
Saturday, 8 August (traveling to Canton)
Monday, 10 August (players day off)
The team will break camp on 14 August, the day before their pre-season game at TCF Bank Stadium against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
We're still working the kinks out of our Training Camp coverage this year. Hopefully we will be able to provide you with as much coverage and camp perspective as we've brought you over the past couple of seasons.
