Minnesota Vikings Sign Defensive Tackle Chrishon Rose

James Guillory-USA TODAY Sports

The Minnesota Vikings had an open spot on the 90-man roster, and they filled that spot on Tuesday with the signing of defensive tackle Chrishon Rose.

Rose played his college ball at East Carolina University, and signs with the Vikings as an undrafted free agent after going unselected in the 2015 NFL Draft. He posted 41 tackles for the Pirates this past season, and was an Honorable Mention All-Conference USA performer in 2013.

Rose has pretty good size at the defensive tackle spot, at 6'2" and right around 300 pounds. He's got an uphill climb in front of him to steal a spot on the Vikings' roster as we approach Training Camp. To be honest, I don't know enough about him to know what kind of role he'd play for the Vikings in their defensive line rotation anyway.

But, for the first time in quite a while, the Minnesota Vikings have the full complement of 90 players on the roster.

Welcome to Minnesota, Chrishon Rose!
