Even though running back Adrian Peterson has been back in the fold with the Minnesota Vikings for a couple of months, it's still a topic of conversation within the national media.
In an interview on The Rich Eisen Show, Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer was asked about how much of his time this offseason was spent "brokering a peace" between Peterson and the franchise. Zimmer responded that it was a pretty significant amount, though obviously he couldn't put an exact number on it or anything like that.
In a related story, apparently Rich Eisen has his own show now. I can't be the only one that didn't have any idea. . .can I?
The rest of the clip continues to talk more about Peterson coming back to the Vikings. Not a whole lot that we haven't heard before, but it's interesting to hear Zimmer address his role as peacemaker in the entire process.
