Minnesota Vikings at San Francisco 49ers: Final Injury Reports For Both Teams

Andrew Weber-USA TODAY Sports

With their game taking place on Monday night, the Minnesota Vikings and San Francisco 49ers had an extra day to put their injury reports for this week's contest together. They've done just that, so let's take a look at both teams. We'll start, as we always do, with the visiting team.

Minnesota Vikings

Player Position Injury Monday Status
Chase Ford TE Shoulder Probable
Zach Line FB Knee Probable
MyCole Pruitt TE Ankle Probable
Shamar Stephen DT Knee Probable

As you can see, not really a whole lot of drama or intrigue with the Vikings' injury report this week. There are four names on it, and all of them are listed as probable, meaning that there's a 75% chance they will play on Monday night. Ford, Line, and Stephen were all listed as having limited participation in practice on Thursday, but all four players listed were full participants in practice on Friday and Saturday.

To my knowledge, the Vikings have not yet made a move to fill the roster spot that was left open after placing John Sullivan on IR-return.

Now, on to the home team, which put out a pretty massive injury report in their own right.

San Francisco 49ers

Player Position Injury Monday Status
Tramaine Brock CB Hamstring Probable

Yep, the Niners' list has one guy on it, and he's probable to play as well. Brock was limited in practice on Thursday and Friday, but was a full participant in Saturday's session.

Those are the final injury reports for the Vikings and the Niners as we head into the first weekend on the NFL calendar, ladies and gentlemen. Not a lot of drama or intrigue on either side. . .hopefully it will be that was at the end of Week 1 as well.
