Editor's Note: FanDuel is running a $1,000,000 fantasy football league in week 1. The Top 46,000 teams win cash with $100,000 paid to first place. Join now!

As I mentioned the other day, we're once again partnering with FanDuel to bring you weekly fantasy football, and even though it's a little later than I usually do this, I'm going to give you who I'm going with this week, as well as what it would look like if you wanted to play the ultimate homer and fill your entire team with members of the Minnesota Vikings.

Like a lot of folks, I've jumped into the $1 million NFL Sunday Rush that will pay out to 46,000 players, including $100,000 to first place. With a $5 outlay, it can't hurt, right? So, here's what I have for this week's contest, building my team under the $60,000 salary cap.

Position Player Team Opponent Salary
QB Ryan Tannehill MIA @ WAS $8,000
RB Adrian Peterson MIN @ SF $9,200
RB Tevin Coleman ATL PHI $6,700
WR Sammy Watkins BUF IND $7,600
WR Amari Cooper OAK CIN $7,100
WR Larry Fitzgerald ARI NO $6,000
TE Jason Witten DAL NYG $5,800
K Cairo Santos KC @ HOU $4,800
D Miami Dolphins MIA @ WAS $4,700

That configuration allows me to spend all but $100 of my mandated salary cap. I may have spread myself too thin at the wide receiver position, but overall I think I've done alright for myself.

So, what would it look like if you wanted to build a whole team around the Vikings? It would look like this:

Position Player Salary
QB Teddy Bridgewater $7,200
RB Adrian Peterson $9,200
RB Jerick McKinnon $5,700
WR Mike Wallace $6,400
WR Charles Johnson $5,600
WR Jarius Wright $5,300
TE Kyle Rudolph $5,300
K Blair Walsh $4,700
D Minnesota $4,400

Setting your team up like that would still leave you with $6,200 to spare under the cap. . .that means it's a whole lot more expensive to make an all-Vikings team this year than it was for most of last season. A lot of that can be owed to Peterson's presence, given that he's the most expensive running back in FanDuel.

But that's a look at FanDuel for the opening week of the 2015 NFL season. Good luck to everyone that's getting into the big challenge or any other FanDuel league this week!
