That certainly liked Week 1, didn't it? We have one quarter of the 2015 Minnesota Vikings season in the books, and we're still tied at 0-0.
It looked like the game was going to have a disastrous start for the Vikings as the 49ers marched all the way down to the red zone with little resistance from the Minnesota defense. After an apparent injury to Shariff Floyd that slowed the onslaught, the Vikings defense held and San Francisco attempted a field goal. A field goal that was blocked by Andrew Sendejo and returned into Vikings field goal range by Marcus Sherels (who else).
Well, into theoretical Vikings field goal range. Because after three quick Teddy Bridgewater incompletions, Blair Walsh happened:

After the 49ers sacked Teddy Bridgewater to force a punt deep in Minnesota territory, former rugby star Jarryd Hayne muffed the punt, which was recovered by Audie Cole (who else). The Vikings moved the ball into theoretical field goal range again, but decided to forego a 48 yard attempt and didn't convert on fourth down.
The second quarter begins with the 49ers holding the ball in their own territory.
