We're a little more than 24 hours away from kickoff between the San Diego Chargers and your Minnesota Vikings at TCF Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. Both of the teams involved in the contest have released their final injury reports, so let's take a look at those here. As we generally do, we'll start with the visiting team.
San Diego Chargers
The Chargers, as you can see, have a few guys that have already been declared as out. The bigger drama comes from the "Questionable" portion of the list, as Fluker, Green (who has stepped in for the suspended Antonio Gates) and Verrett are all pretty big parts of the team for San Diego. It will be interesting to see who they declare inactive on Sunday morning to go along with the four players that we already know will be down. All three players the Chargers listed as "Questionable" were limited participants in Friday's practice session, although Verrett was a full participant in Thursday's practice.
And now, on to the home side.
We've been keeping an eye on Fusco's concussion issue over the past few days here, and if he's being listed as questionable for Sunday, hopefully he will be cleared to play before game time. He was a full participant in Friday's practice, which is a positive sign. If he doesn't get cleared, it sounds like the former Charger, Jeremiah Sirles, will be getting the start in his place. That's the understanding I have of the situation, anyway. But, overall, the Vikings remain relatively healthy.
And that's what the injury reports look like for the Vikings and the Chargers going into Sunday's contest, folks. We'll have more coverage of this one as we get closer to kickoff.
