San Diego Chargers at Minnesota Vikings: Inactive Lists For Both Teams

Brad Rempel-USA TODAY Sports

We're less than ninety minutes away from kickoff at TCF Bank Stadium, which means that the Minnesota Vikings and the San Diego Chargers have released their lists of players that will be deactivated for today's contest. Let's take a look at those now.

We'll start, as we're wont to do, with the visiting team.

San Diego Chargers

Jahleel Addae
RB Donald Brown
CB Brandon Flowers
TE Ladarius Green
WR Jacoby Jones
OL Johnnie Troutman
LB Tourek Williams

We speculated that Green might be out after dealing with concussion issues, and that will be the case today. His sitting out is a pretty big hit for the Chargers offense, as he had performed pretty well in the team's first two games. Flowers is a bit of a surprise, as he wasn't even listed on the team's injury report. Another Chargers' corner, Jason Verrett, who was listed as questionable is active today.

And now for the home team

Minnesota Vikings

WR Stefon Diggs
TE Chase Ford
QB Taylor Heinicke
DE Danielle Hunter
OL Zac Kerin
CB Jabari Price
LB Edmond Robinson

For the Vikings, the most important name relating to the inactive list is someone that is NOT on it, and that's left guard Brandon Fusco. He has been cleared to play and will start at left guard as normal. Other than that, no huge surprises on the inactive list for the home team.

And that's who will be sitting out for this one, ladies and gentlemen. Your Open Thread for the first quarter of play will be up at the top of the hour.
