The Vikings 2014 1st round draft picks have been given belated trips to the Pro Bowl, replacing Carson Palmer from Arizona and Jamie Collins from New England, reports PFT.

It was unclear if Palmer's six turnovers in Sunday's NFC Championship had anything to do with It, Both Palmer and Collins vacated their spots, as often happens these days with Pro Bowl nominees.

Pro Football Focus selected Anthony Barr to it's All-Pro team this season, while rating Teddy Bridgewater the most accurate passer in the league.  So, while some say the Pro Bowl is not much more than a popularity contest, both Barr and Bridgewater have shown some excellent play this year to prove their worthiness.  Unlike Jeff Saturday in 2012.

Congratulations to Anthony Barr and Teddy Bridgewater on their first Pro Bowl selections- undoubtedly the first of many in both cases.
