The NFC Wild Card contest at TCF Bank Stadium between the Minnesota Vikings and the Seattle Seahawks three weeks ago was cold. Incredibly cold. It was officially measured as the third-coldest game in NFL history, and apparently one of the key players from one of Minnesota's opponents is still feeling the after effects.
Seahawks' safety Kam Chancellor posted this picture to his Instagram yesterday, showing that even three weeks after the fact his hands haven't recovered from that afternoon.
I know that people may question Chancellor's manliness or something like that because of these pictures, but seriously. . .playing outdoors in those temperatures is no joke. Take into consideration that, at least in the picture above, he was wearing gloves and it apparently still didn't help.
I haven't seen any pictures of anyone from the Vikings that has expressed this kind of sentiment, but I'm sure that a number of their players were having issues because of the cold as well. As it stands now, however, players from both teams should have plenty of time to recover.
