Now that the 2015 regular season is over, we finally have the full list of which teams the Minnesota Vikings will play in the 2016 regular season.
Fourteen of the sixteen games were already determined, as the Vikings knew that they were going to have home and away games against each of their NFC North rivals, as well as games against the NFC East and the AFC South. The other two games had to wait until it was determined where the Vikings finished in the division. Having captured the NFC North crown last night in Green Bay, the Vikings will battle the first place team in the NFC West and NFC South divisions to round out their 2016 schedule.
With that, here is the full list of the Vikings' 2016 opponents:
Home Games | Road Games |
Chicago Bears | Chicago Bears |
Detroit Lions | Detroit Lions |
Green Bay Packers | Green Bay Packers |
Dallas Cowboys | Philadelphia Eagles |
New York Giants | Washington Redskins |
Houston Texans | Jacksonville Jaguars |
Indianapolis Colts | Tennessee Titans |
Arizona Cardinals | Carolina Panthers |
We won't know when the Vikings are playing each of these teams, or other details like who the team's first opponent at the new U.S. Bank Stadium will be, but now we know all sixteen of Minnesota's opponents for the 2016 season.
