Merry Wednesday, DN faithful! We're at the peak of the week, it's all downhill from here to the weekend and to the Vikings' matchup with Philadelphia and future HOF QB, Carson Wentz.

From NFL.com, Ben Rothlisberger and Eddie Lacy are on the injury list, Lacy could be out several weeks. Also, Vincent Jackson was placed on IR with a torn ACL, and Eric Decker will be out eight months after he underwent hip surgery.

Todd Bowles backtracked on his statement that Fitzpatrick would definitely remain the starter, according to NFL.com.
