After having gone nearly two full weeks without seeing the Minnesota Vikings take the football field, we are now a mere twenty-four hours away from watching the purple again. The Vikings will be heading on the road to the City of Brotherly Love to take on the Philadelphia Eagles, and we have all of the ways that you can follow along with the action right here for you.

Television Info

Once again, the Vikings and Eagles will be kicking things off at that greatest of all start times for NFL action, which is 12:00 PM Central time on Sunday. This all-NFC matchup will be shown on FOX, which is KMSP-9 in the Twin Cities. The play-by-play duties for this one will be handled by the FOX “A-Team” of Thom Brennaman and Troy Aikman. No Joe Buck for this one, as this is the time of year he’s making baseball unwatchable rather than football.

If you’re wondering whether or not you’re in the primary broadcast area for this week’s game, here is the broadcast map courtesy of the good folks at 506 Sports. The Vikings/Eagles game is represented by the red area.

If you are outside of the primary viewing area and will be watching this one via the DirecTV NFL Sunday Ticket package, you’ll want to tune your receiver to Channel 712.

The folks at Sports on Canadian TV have not yet posted their television listings for Sunday. When they do, we will update this post with where our friends from north of the border can watch this one.

For our friends in the United Kingdom, it doesn’t appear that the game is going to be carried by any of their NFL partners, so the only route for this one would appear to be NFL Game Pass. (Thanks to NFL UK for that information.)

For our men and women serving overseas, this one will be shown live on the American Forces Network. More specifically, it will be on AFN Prime Atlantic with a kickoff time of 1700Z. That makes kickoff time in Central Europe 1900L, folks in Afghanistan will be looking at a 2130L kickoff, and everyone in Japan and Korea is going to be staying up late. . .or getting up early. . .with kickoff coming at 0200L on Monday morning.

Radio Info

For everyone that’s going to be listening on the radio, you can find an affiliate in your area that’s a part of the Vikings Radio Network. If you do not have an affiliate near you, another alternative would be to check out the TuneIn online radio service.

If you’re going the satellite radio route, you can find the feed from the Vikings Radio Network on Sirius Channel 136 (no XM broadcast for the Vikings this week). The feed from the Eagles’ radio crew can be found on Channel 82 on both the Sirius and XM sides of the house. If you’re using the SiriusXM Online App, the Vikings’ permanent home there is Channel 818.

Referee Info

Our friends over at Football Zebras inform us that the officiating crew for this week’s contest will be led by John Hussey. He’s been officiating since 2002, but this is just his second season as a head referee. His only Vikings’ game as a head referee came last season at Soldier Field, a game that saw the Vikings defeat the Chicago Bears by a score of 23-20.

Weather Info

It looks like it’s going to be a breezy one in the City of Brotherly Love tomorrow, according to the folks from Weather Underground. There’s no chance of precipitation in the forecast and temperatures at kickoff time should be close to 60 degrees. However, the forecast is also calling for winds out of the northwest at around 20 miles an hour all afternoon. It will be interesting to see how that affects things.

Streaming Info

It doesn’t appear that FOX is going to be streaming this game on their website or through any other legal means. If you’re overseas, there’s always NFL Game Pass.

As far as other streams are concerned, do NOT. . .and I mean not in any way, shape, or form. . .promote illegal streaming sites on The Daily Norseman. Not in the comments, not in the FanPosts, not in the FanShots, not in the Game Thread, not anywhere. Don't even hint at them. Trust me on this. If you're that determined to watch the game via an illegal stream, do a Google search and find it on your own. And feel free to not blame us for any ill effects your computer or device might suffer as a result.

That should be all of the information you need in order to enjoy Sunday afternoon’s contest between the Minnesota Vikings and the Philadelphia Eagles from Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia. We’ll have the Game Thread up and ready to go approximately an hour before kickoff, and we hope to see a lot of you folks there for it.
