The injuries continue for the Minnesota Vikings along the offensive line.
During the first quarter of Monday night’s matchup against the New York Giants, Vikings’ starting right tackle Andre Smith suffered an injury to his arm that caused him to be taken out of the game. He has been labeled as questionable to return.
Smith has had his struggles in his first three games as a Viking, giving up numerous pressures from his right tackle position. He was signed as a free agent this off-season and the team thought he would compete with Phil Loadholt for the starting spot at right tackle, but Loadholt’s retirement pretty much gave Smith the job all to himself.
Jeremiah Sirles, who spent significant time at left guard in last week’s victory over Carolina, has been put into the game in Smith’s place.
Again, Vikings’ starting right tackle Andre Smith has left tonight’s game with a right arm injury and is questionable to return.
